My name is Mariam, I am 19 years old and a 2018 student at Zayed University. My major is Communication and Media Sciences and I am currently specialized in Integrated Strategic Communication. Despite my major, I have always been interested in art and coloring, working out and nutrition, and learning the Korean language.
It usually takes me a day to finish a painting, unless it was a hard paint. I draw in my room or in an empty class at my university. Also, I spend my time drawing every time I am bored or to relieve my stress away. It prevents me from thinking and I feel the happiest after finishing a paint.
Eating meals on time is good for preventing binge eating. Also, walking 30 minutes at least helps a lot. I usually work out in my university’s gym or at my house. Managing meals and working out helps me managing my body shape and how healthy I get. My stress becomes less, and my body is less heavy after working out.
I always attend Korean language classes when I am able to. I speak the Korean language when I attend Korean culture-related events or with my friends who have the same interests. Learning the language helps me in watching movies or dramas, and to have more experience. I feel proud and happy to have another language
I have a lot of interests but these are my main favorite things to do which I am happy to share and to tell about. Art, nutrition and working out, and learning a new language is a good combination of doing beneficial things that give us experiences. Also, a good way to spend your time.
